What is Non-woven Fabric

Non-woven fabric is a kind of fabric that does not need to be woven by spinning. It is only formed by directional or random support of short fiber or filament to form a fiber network structure and then reinforced by mechanical, thermal adhesion or chemical methods. Simply put, it is not woven and knitted from yarn to yarn, but the fibers are bonded together directly by physical means. Nonwovens break through the traditional textile principle, and have the characteristics of short process flow, fast production speed, high yield, low cost, wide use and many sources of raw materials.

Its main USES can be roughly divided into:

  1. medical and health cloth: surgical clothing, protective clothing, disinfectant cloth, mask, diaper, women's sanitary towel, etc.

  2. household decoration cloth: wall covering, table cloth, bedspread, etc.;

  3. lining, fusing lining, batting, shaping cotton, various synthetic leather backing cloth, etc.;

  4. industrial fabrics: filtration materials, insulation materials, cement packaging bags, geotextiles, covering fabrics, etc.;

    (5) agricultural cloth: crop protection cloth, seedling raising cloth, irrigation cloth, insulation curtain, etc. (6) others: space cotton, insulation materials, linoleum, smoke filter, tea bag, etc.
